CEPT University and CEPT Research and Development Foundation (CRDF) conducted the second edition of Knowledge Exchange Program, a 5-day workshop, for the Members of Parliament and Officers working for the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Government of Kenya from 18 Jun to 22 Jun. Funded by the Government of Kenya, the workshop deliberated on ‘Innovations in Slum Upgrade Programs and Housing’.
The program curriculum was designed and delivered by Vidyadhar Phatak, Sejal Patel and Saswat Bandyopadyay.
The pedagogy included class room lectures, guided technical visits and meetings with key stakeholders which included officials from Urban Development and Urban Housing Department of GoG, RERA of GoG, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation and Mahlia Housing Trust. This was the 2nd edition of the program following the success of the 1st edition delivered by CEPT in February 2018.
