Jigna Desai presented her research at the Symposium hosted by Tsinghua University, Beijing, China

Dr. Jigna Desai, Executive Director of Center for Heritage Conservation, CRDF, presented her research at the Symposium hosted by Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. The Symposium, titled “Conservation and Renewal of Historic Urban Areas - Approaches to Sustainable Management for Historic Urban Landscape, was organised by the ICOMOS International Scientific Committee for Historic Towns and Villages, Asia - Pacific Subcomittee. The discussions focused on various planning and policy mechanisms and introduction of participatory tools for managing the World Heritage Sites in context of Sustainable Development Goals and in wake of Climate Change.
