Making cities ODF ++ : Divisional workshops in Maharashtra

Under the Swachh Maharashtra Mission, the Government of Maharashtra aims to make all its ULBs ODF++ with safe management of faecal waste. With respect to this the government has rolled out a resolution approving the FSTP technology, designed with support from CEPT, to be implemented in 311 ULBs. To build capacities of these ULBs, divisional workshops are being conducted across all divisions of Maharashtra between 21st to 30th November by CWAS-CEPT in partnership with the Department of Urban Development.  These workshops discuss implementation of FSTP and its operation and maintenance, how ULBs can improve their desludging services and ODF++ preparedness.
