New publication: Local Area Planning (LAP) around Transit

CRDF has come out with a new publication titled 'LAP Around Transit: an illustrated handbook for Indian cities'. The publication developed by Dr. Rutul Joshi and his research team demonstrates how Local Area Plans (LAPs) can be implemented around transit systems in cities of varying size classes. The graphical format adopted allows the presentation of complex planning ideas in simple and visual manner, making it more accessible and appealing to Govt. planners and decision makers. The handbook was launched on August 5th by Durga Shankar Mishra, Secretary, MoHUA and D Thara, Joint Secretary, AMRUT Mission.
