Prof. Rajan Rawal, Senior Advisor, Centre for Advanced Research in Building Science and Energy (CARBSE) and CRDF Professor, Building Energy Performance and Dr Yash Shukla, Principal Researcher, and Centre Head, Centre for Advanced Research in Building Science and Energy (CARBSE), were invited as panel speakers in the Thematic Technical Sessions at 2nd International Conference and Exhibition on Building Energy Efficiency — ANGAN 2022. ANGAN (Augmenting Nature by Green Affordable New Habitat) was organized by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Ministry of Power, Government of India in New Delhi between 14 – 16 September 2022 focusing on the main theme of "Making the Zero-Carbon Transition in Buildings. This conference also hosted an exhibition of various low-carbon products, technologies, and innovations applicable in the building sector.  

The two-and-a-half-day conference covered an Inaugural Session, A Keynote Session, five Plenary Sessions and eight Thematic Technical Sessions and it hosted an exhibition of various low-carbon products, technologies, and innovations applicable in the building sector. Three of the research projects at the Centre for Advanced Research in Building Science and Energy (CARBSE), “Driving Efficient Low-energy-cooling Technologies: Assessment to Technology Tech-transfer (DELTA-T)”, “Integrated Urban Model for Built Environment Energy Research (iNUMBER)”, and “Innovative Residential Cooling Technologies: Performance Evaluation and Validation” were exhibited at the stall set up by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. New Delhi, demonstrating its contribution and work on the “Building Energy Efficiency Research Initiative.’
