Prof. Shivanand Swamy joined WRI's panel discussion on last mile connectivity to MRTS

Prof. H.M. Shivanand Swamy, Emeritus Director, Centre of Excellence in Urban Transport, CRDF, joined as a panelist in the session “Connecting the dots: Enabling better first and last-mile connectivity to MRTS” at WRI India’s flagship annual event, Connect Karo 2021. The session discussed various ways metro rail in India can become more integrated and commuter-centric. This included facilitating better data sharing, implementing effective last-mile services, and enabling seamless fare payments

He highlighted the need of integrating buses with the metro as the starting point of integration process so the 100% of Bengaluru could use the metro.
