Role of cultural institutions in urban resilience: The case of Ahmedabad” published by the ENGAGE Network

The CHC research paper titled ``Role of cultural institutions in urban resilience: The case of Ahmedabad” published by the ENGAGE Network, authored by Dr. Jigna Desai and Juhi Bafna, presented on 16th June 2021 at the ENGAGE’s 3rd International Research Network Conference,’Towards a global agenda for humanitarian heritage: A community-centred vision towards the future of global heritage,’ is now published on their website - www.humanitarian heritage.com.  The paper looks into the institutional networks present within the historic city of Ahmedabad which play a major role during the disasters and pandemics.  The research also aimed at the role of cultural institutions in urban resilience and how they become important and symbolic spatial markers to the actions taken during the time of crisis.
