Vagmi Patel recognised at National Geospatial Event

Vagmi Patel, GIS Engineer at the Center for Applied Geomatics (CAG), for achieving the winners category at the IIT Bombay FOSSEE Mapathon 2023.

Vaghmi's entry showcased the successful use of open-source technology to locate suitable EV charging stations, demonstrating their commitment to promoting sustainable transportation solutions. The achievement is even more commendable as the team became one of the top 74 teams under the winner category. The total number of participants for the Mapathon 2023 were 4,336, forming 1,863 teams representing 329 institutions across the globe.
