CHC

Join us for Batch-03 of the Certificate Program in Digital Documentation of Built Heritage’, to be conducted from 09-13 July 2024 at CEPT University campus and on-site in Ahmedabad.

This 5-day intensive program is designed to equip participants with the expertise needed to digitally document historic buildings, structures, and environments. It will focus on providing working knowledge of 3D LiDAR scanning and terrestrial photogrammetry, with an introduction to GIS platforms. During the hands-on workshops, traditional wooden houses in the historic city of Ahmedabad will be digitally documented.

The workshop is structured as three independent yet interlinked modules:

  1. Principles and methods of digital documentation
  2. Field data collection
  3. Integrated approach for post-processing and visualisation

The aim is to gain insights for optimising the time and effort required for the documentation of historic built environments while improving accuracy and quality by integrating different techniques.

This program is developed and curated by Center for Heritage Conservation (CHC), CRDF in collaboration with CEPT Professional Programs (CPP). Enroll now for our 03rd batch! With two successful runs behind us, join us in continuing the journey of documenting heritage.
