The Center of Excellence in Urban Transport (CoE-UT) is implementing an Executive Program in Sustainable Transport.  It is a capacity-building program by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Government of India, and it aims to enhance the capacities of in-service transport professionals at the state and city level.  Supported by GIZ, the program has the Institute of Urban Transport (IUT) and Transformation on Urban Mobility Initiative (TUMI) as knowledge partners, and it is spearheaded by Dr. Shalini Sinha, Executive Director, CoE-UT.

There will be 5 workshops conducted during the course of the program.  The program structure includes a 6-day national workshop having experiential and hands-on exercises, case discussions, an active learning project, and a 5-day cross-learning workshop in Germany.  The program intends to sensitise participants to new emerging areas and sub-sectors in transport.
