Mon, June 21, 2021 Training Program
The International Finance Corporation (IFC) with the Center for Advanced Research in Building Science and Energy (CARBSE) completed the Training of Teachers (ToT) program in May. Held between 19th and 29th May in two batches (four-day and three-day), it was conducted to equip faculties of architecture to deliver the Designing for Greater Efficiency course by IFC. DfGE course promotes awareness and understanding of Green Building among university students. It will enable them to design resource-efficient architecture. The 12 participating institutions from all over India will now teach the course in their academic session. “The course was very well structured. I am confident that the EDGE app will help students justify their design decisions. I am very happy to offer this course in my upcoming semester.” – Shoumik Desai, Nitte Institute of Architecture.
