Kolhapur Municipal Corporation with CWAS train gardeners for STP site maintenance

Kolhapur Municipal Corporation (KMC) in partnership with CWAS conducted a training session for gardeners of KMC.  The training was given for the maintenance of the landscaped area at the Kasaba Bawada Sewage Treatment Plant site.  CWAS, supported by the HT Parekh Foundation, is engaged by KMC to develop and maintain citywide Faecal Sludge and Septage Management (FSSM) plans.  The FSSM plans are for implementing a safe sanitation model in the pilot zones of Satara and Kolhapur.  The activities are supported by capacity building of city officials.
