Bulandshahr Heritage Conservation Initiative (BHCI) is a collaboration between the Center for Heritage Conservation (CHC) and The Kala Chaupal Trust. The initiative aims to research, document, conserve and safeguard the rich cultural heritage of Bulandshahr. 

Bulandshahr is a historic city in the state of Uttar Pradesh with rich 19th-century colonial built structures. A series of programmes focusing on the conservation and regeneration of valuable heritage assets of Bulandshahr city has been proposed through educational, research and outreach activities. 

A number of Directed Research Projects (DRP) were undertaken by the students of the Masters of Conservation and Regeneration, Faculty of Architecture, CEPT University, Ahmedabad.

Ragini Singh, a recent graduate from the School of Planning and Architecture (Masters in Conservation), was selected as a Digital Heritage Architectural Fellow to study and map the heritage assets in Bulandshahr. This fellowship is supported by Kala Chaupal Trust, Center for Heritage Conservation and Center for Applied Geomatics.
