Construction Quality of Multistorey Buildings

The workshop on 16th December and 17th December 2016 focused on enabling Civil Engineers, Construction Planners, and Project Managers about construction quality and standards. Real estate closely follows the growth and development of the country.  

Currently, India is in developing phase and has shown all-round development in various sectors.  The real estate sector is benefited from this growth.  Over and above this, the government has provided several incentives for the housing sector. As a result, number of projects are being taken up in different income groups. Commercial projects have also sustained growth in real estate.

The developers are providing necessary amenities to attract the buyers; however, end-users continue to be unsatisfied with the construction quality. There is a gap of employable engineers amongst the fresh graduates. One of the key areas where engineers lack is construction quality and understanding nodal provisions. This two-day workshop on construction quality for multistorey buildings focused on testing of materials with hands-on testing.
